The company focuses its efforts on providing quality services in regulatory affairs support, rate case analyses, and management, operational, and rate case audits. Several recent engagements include:

• Supported the State of Maine Public Advocate in a proceeding involving Northern Utilities, Inc. natural gas cast iron main replacement program. Maine Public Utilities Commission Docket #2008-151 (Phase II) and Docket #2004-813 (Phase I)
• Evaluated Consumers Energy's proposed renewable energy plan, transfer price forecast, and rate surcharge recovery mechanism on behalf of the Michigan Attorney General, Case Nos. U-15805 and U-15889. Blue Ridge evaluated the energy optimization plan's benchmark data for the proposed programs, including cost, and validated cost effectiveness under USRCT–Utility System Resource Cost Test. Provided testimony regarding Consumers' Renewable Energy and Energy Optimization Plans.
• Evaluated Puget Sound Energy's Energy Conservation Incentive Mechanism (ECIM) under the co-direction of PSE and the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission staff. The evaluation assessed the ECIM's design and implementation in addressing key issues and objectives: accuracy of calculations, compliance with requirements, proper use of methodology, and assumptions or methods used to calculate and verify savings.
• Provided regulatory affairs and rate case training covering regulation principles in the electric, water and gas industries and management audits for industry associations and regulatory agencies such as Colorado Public Utilities Commission, the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission and the Institute of Public Utilities.

• Provided expert witness testimony before the Delaware Public Service Commission on behalf of the Commission Staff in Delmarva Power & Light Company's request for an increase in electric base rates (Docket No. 09-414). Testimony proffered included rate base, revenue requirements and adjustments, cost of service, and rate design.
• Filed expert witness testimony before the Public Service Commission of Michigan on behalf of the Michigan Attorney General regarding Consumers Energy Company request to increase natural gas base rates (Case No U-15506). Testimony included rate base, revenue requirements and net operating income.
• Submitted expert witness testimony and supported the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control Staff regarding Aquarion Water Company request to amend its rate schedules (Docket No. 10-02-13). Filings and testimony supported included revenue requirements, rate base, affiliate transactions/allocations, and rate design.

• Revenue Requirements Management Audit (DPU No. 08-35) of New England Gas Company: Blue Ridge performed a review of the Company's policies, procedures, and practices to determine whether the Company's processes would produce financial information that could be relied upon in the development of revenue requirements in the Company's base rate request.
• Management Audit of Connecticut Light and Power (Docket #07-07-01): Blue Ridge conducted a management audit of Connecticut Light & Power on behalf of the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control. The project also included a separate prudence investigation of the planning and implementation of the C2 customer information system.
• Rate Case Audits on behalf of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio focusing on the development and determination of revenue requirements. The audits included
